My day...
This morning, Kylor was the first one up. I had a little Mommy and Son talk to him about our current situation with Daddy in Korea and everything, The other day at Target he said to me "We are the only ones without a Dad" it broke my heart when he said that, I told him " You have a Dad he just can't be here with us right now, he loves you and misses you." I thought since the other two boys were still sleeping I would have a Kylor and Me chat, I reasurred him that Daddy and loves him and we will see him again soon, I told him I loved him and that things are going to be ok. Though it's a little hard right now, soon we'll be together as a family. I asked him what he wanted for Breakfast and he said Baccon and Eggs, so we went up stairs and made it together, he even cracked a few of the eggs in all by himself. It was so sweet this is my favorite part. While he was eating his breakfast, he told me "Mom, I really liked that talk we just had" It made me feel so good. * I met a friend for lunch at Burger King, I've not seen her since before we left for the Azores, we've kept in touch these past years and we have so much in common it's not even funny! We let the kids play and it was nice to see each other, I think I'll do many things with her this year.
Orion has been great lately, no problems and the tantrums have been much less, I've really put an effort to speak to him and explain things, recognize his frustrations on things and explain things to him even more than before, I think it's working. It's been a little exhausting for me though. I've put up some work charts for the kids, Kylor likes it, Orion doesn't really care though. I'm just trying to try new things and see if we can make any improvements as a family.
I worked out tonight! I've been a little anxious about things, I hate being alone, I miss Steve so much, just not having someone to talk to after the kids go to bed is so hard, I do talk to Gma and Pam but it's just not the same. That's something Steve and I used to do alot before we moved, just talk...I miss those moments.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS
I don't have any specific goals I want to achieve this year, but I have alot of things I'm working on all at the same time. The biggest thing I'd like to do is be more positive in every day life. I want to laugh more and I'd like to be more patient with the kids & read to them more, run another 5k by July and lose about 40 more lbs. I would like to be a better wife to my dear husband, I want him to know how much I love him and I always will love him. I guess it's difficult to express all my feelings to my husband since he's so far away and the communication is so minimal right now. I've found myself at times in a dark cloud, just trying to find my way in this darkness. I've been feeling quiet alone at times and the loneliness comes and goes. This distance has been much harder than I thought it would be. I mean we've dont Iraq 2 times before, but I guess this just seems so much more difficult, but I really think we'll pull through this stronger than before.
Steve had a long weekend off, I was able to talk to him but our connection was very chopping, he said he went exploring around with some friends in his shop and was able to do some late Christmas shopping for us. He tried Kemchi (Korean Dish) he said it's not as bad as everyone makes it seem, but it's not exactly the best either. He's moving into his apartment by Thursday, he's just waiting for another Airman to move out of the place. He seems to be doing well and enjoying his time though this has been a big adjustment for him as well. Talk about Culture Shock!

2 new words
Today Quinn spoke two new words...He was reaching for a toy dog on a shelf and said "doggy", and then he got into the dog food and I told him CaCa cause he wanted to eat some...and he said "caca" it was cute, he's a pretty smart boy, he's sensitive like Kylor when he was a baby. I love each one so much.

Orion's 4th Birthday

I can't believe it, our cute little Orion is four! We tried to video conference with Daddy on the computer but MSN was acting up and didn't find the web cam. That was frustrating, He later called from work and were able to put him on speaker phone so we all talked to him. How we miss him-We celebrated Orion's day with the family at home, had cake and ice cream and opened gifts it was a simple party, but those are the best ones of all. Enjoy the video & pictures
